Friday Morning with Wayne 6:30 to 7:30

These sessions concentrate on fitness and triathlon training, periodising the sessions to be in line with the Triathlon racing season.

Video analysis equipment available at every session.

Our primary is:-

  • Correcting your stroke mechanics
  • Getting your fitness right for your event
  • Improving your speed
  • Setting target times for your events
  • Practising race strategies

This Weeks Session

The Session Is Still ON As We Are A Small Group

Looking at last weeks sessions videos it's clear we need to work on balance and the catch. We'll be doing that in the drills (done with fins so please bring yours along).

After that we're beginning to cement the "Feel" of your Race Pace into your mentality. Four swims over 100m, 200m, 300m and 400m all done at your projected race pace. These will be timed so you can judge how your pace maintinence is going.

After that - and if there's time - we'll do a short blast of 4 x 25m with 15m max and 10m EZ.
